Anthony Hunt
Anthony Hunt is Head of Music and Chorus Master at the State Opera of South Australia. For State Opera, his conducting engagements have included Candide, Sweeney Todd, Love Burns and The Pirates of Penzance.
He was Chorus Master at Opera Australia from 2013-2019, where he prepared the chorus for over 60 different operas, including for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour. At OA he also worked as a repetiteur and assistant conductor.
Recent conducting engagements have included, with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Gorecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, the Poulenc Organ Concerto and the Faure Requiem. For the Auckland Philharmonia, he conducted a 2023 concert of Sondheim, and he has conducted Handel’s Messiah with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, and Adelaide Baroque.
Anthony completed his studies as a repetiteur at the Royal Academy of Music, London, winning additional prizes in piano accompaniment. He is an Associate of the RAM, and also Director of Music at St Peter’s Cathedral, Adelaide.
Eleanor Blythman
Eleanor’s versatility as a performer has seen her work successfully across a number of genres including, opera and musical theatre and as a concert soloist throughout Australia and Europe.
Originally from Adelaide, Eleanor is an Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide and Royal College of Music, London graduate.
Eleanor performs regularly with Opera Australia with roles including Rosina in The Barber of Seville (Vic Schools) and The Queen of Hearts, Mary and Spider in By the Light of the Moon and in their Australian tour of The Phantom of the Opera, as Swing and Madame Giry.
London West End credits include Mrs Jenks in The Tenderland by Copland and Confidante, Wardrobe Mistress and Madame Firmin in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Gala at Royal Albert Hall.
Other roles include Sister Margaretta in the GFO/London Palladium production of The Sound of Music, Clara in Passion for Swell Productions, Wife in Elena Kats-Chernin’s Undertow for Icebreaker Production (Hungary and Finland) and The Queen of the Night with Co-Opera in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Australia and Europe).
For the State Opera of South Australia roles include, Gretel in Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel, Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George Lois/Bianca in Kiss me Kate, Princess and the Nightingale in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, Madame Herz in Mozart’s The Impressario, Peep-Bo in The Mikado and Amy March in Mark Adamo’s Little Women.

The Embers
The Embers are an Adelaide band that formed in 1965 and re-formed in 2004 and have been playing ever since.
As of 2019, there has been only two new members in all those years. As ex lead guitarist for the Adelaide Cadillac's, Bob Snewin was invited to join this classic band after the retirement of Snowy, the original lead guitarist.
Playing a wide mix of 50's/60's/70's + music, from Classic 50's R&R to artists such as The Stray Cats, Chris Isaak & Bonnie Tyler.
Meticulous attention is paid to the signature notes/riffs/sounds of the music of the times.
The Embers are the feature band for the Gala dinner on Saturday evening of the Rotary Impact Summit.
